Happy Hen Party!

Hen Do Ideas
Strictly speaking, the hen night is the responsibility of the chief bridesmaid. So make sure you choose well! It usually turns out that the 'last night of freedom' often turns into a long weekend or longer.

There are many hen activities to consider, for instance a pampering session can be a trip to a spa, or it could be that all invited are asked to bring face masks, foot baths and nail polish and do it yourselves.
Hen Do Ideas
Activity hen nights include pottery or dancing.
You may even want to venture into the stag territory and try paint balling or tank driving.

There are also joint stag and hen parties to consider; often the case when there are a lot of mutual friends. A room can be booked at a smart restaurant or you can even take over a cottage in the country for weekend.

An increasingly popular option is that of having a night in with a Butler providing your entertainment for the evening. The idea here is quite simple - you can hire a butler or two for the desired time. They have often been described in their testimonials as the missing ingredient for a ladies night, or a Hen party.

As already mentioned, it does not seem to be the 'last night' anymore. Rather it is spread over a weekend.

So with this in mind, the Cheeky Buff Butlers have a new offering.
You can now hire a beach hut, with a butler, and have all of your lunch provided for you and your party. He will serve your food and drinks and ensure you thoroughly enjoy your afternoon. From here you can move into your evening having started the fun a bit earlier.

Considering it is often the custom that the bride to be does not have to make any financial contribution, this quickly becomes more than affordable for the friends of the bride!

What about the actual time with the Butler? Is it worth it? Our testimonials will tell you all you need to know here - please see for yourself here.

What do you think of this idea? What did your Hen Night consist of?

We would love your feedback on our latest offering - let us know in anyway you want to, you can even comment below.

The Hen Party Plan

Hen Party - The Plan

Here at Cheeky Buff Butlers we specialise in Hen Parties and Birthday Parties and 'nights in'. We have compiled this blog simply to give you 12 tips for planning your ideal hen night. We hope you enjoy.

Your Plan:

You have to ensure your plan is worth sticking to:
  1. Draw up a list of people to invite, consults the bride
  2. Decide what the hen would like to do, it is their 'last night'
  3. Set the itinerary and make enquiries and provisional bookings
  4. Don't go too over the top. Barcelona might sound like a good idea, however, not everyone will want to spend that amount of time or money celebrating the occasion. If you want to do something big, review the budget among the close friends and see what you can do locally over a shorter period of time
  5. Create and send out invites
  6. If there is anything extra required such as props, old photos, a change of clothes, etc make sure that the bride knows about this well in advance
  7. Give out your email address and mobile number and be available to answer queries about directions, accommodation, etc
  8. Pre-book everything you can so you are not thwarted by not being able to get into a venue/restaurant
  9. Confirm in writing or by email, especially for accommodation and reconfirm the day before
  10. Make sure everyone knows where you are meeting eg. which bar or hotel? Which station entrance? Whose house? Give a mobile number for last minute changes etc.
  11. Make sure everyone knows roughly how much the do will all cost, including the brides cost. Let everyone know when the payment is due
  12. Have a fall-back meeting for late arrivals or people who get lost.
Has this been helpful? Have you got a Hen party coming up in the near future?
